Survey of passengers using the Lakes Line

The Latest

Vacancies

As with any active organisation there are always jobs to be done.

Wanted: Dave Grime, our Bulletin editor, is always happy to receive articles or news snippets for inclusion in the quarterly Bulletin. If you fancy seeing your article in print, do get in touch!

Don’t forget our work as ‘Friends of’ the stations on the line. Members look after the plants, and in early summer helped out on a Community day at Kendal station, which included a deep clean of the waiting shelter and painting the fence alongside Station House.

We have teams that look after plants at Kendal and Burneside, but nobody at Staveley. Email us at info@llrug.co.uk if you would like to start up a group for Staveley, or would like to join the Burneside or Kendal teams. Windermere’s plants are looked after by pupils from Windermere School and Air Cadets, under the guidance of Simone Backhouse from Lakeland Gardens.
